The Stunning Squash Blossom

The squash blossom pattern is a Navajo design adopted and popularized by the Zuni.  It was introduced in the late 19th century. The distinctive “naja” crescent shape is it’s most defining characteristic. I share an authentic turquoise squash blossom with my sister that was so kindly gifted by my Aunt.  Apparently I’m becoming greedy because now I want my own and I want it to be even bigger and more badass.  Too bad I don’t have a spare $1,000 to $3,000 laying around.

Oh, these are exquisite! They make such a statement! I love the whole outfit in the fourth photo. The denim and denim topped off with a stunning necklace… Perfect.
